Oscar Issac discusses powers for Apocalypse


Apocalypse is coming. The iconic X-Men villain will be making his debut in 2016 blockbuster: X-Men: Apocalypse. With the introduction to this villain comes a great deal of questions; such as how will Apocalypse play into the overall story of the X-Men film franchise. However, perhaps a more intriguing question to ask ourselves is what exactly are Apocalypse's powers for the upcoming film. Over the years, Apocalypse has displayed a variety of powers such as shapeshifting and energy projection. The post credit scene in X-Men: Days of Future Past (apology for the spoilers) showed that Apocalypse has telekinesis in the movie universe. With a variety of abilities to Apocalypse's disposal, it is hard to pin point what direction Bryan Singer and the rest of the filmmakers will go with this powerful mutant. Fortunately we do have a idea of what Apocalypse's powers will be like thanks to En Sabah Nur himself: Oscar Issac.

The man who will play the antagonist sat down with Comingsoon.net to talk about the first mutant's abilities. While Issac was not specific, he did have this to say about Apocalypse's powers.
