The Park is Open! Jurassic World's Trailer has Arrived!

A few days ago, I created a post on the release of the trailer to Jurassic World. Information spread that the preview would be released on Thursday during NBC's Thanksgiving Football Games. Well apparently I was wrong as the trailer to Jurassic World is now online. My guess is that the preview will have a televised broadcast on Thursday, but having the trailer out now is definitely more convenient for moviegoers.

Anyways, the trailer to Jurassic World has a lot to offer. The trailer  shows off the story to the movie and shows us just how much the world of Jurassic Park has changed. Though, the idea of genetically enhanced dinosaur seems silly; but we will see if that plot point works next summer. The preview showcases Jurassic World's environment- which I believe will benefit the movie in formats such as IMAX. When it comes to tone, I did like the ominous vibe from the trailer's climax. The idea of not showing off the new dinosaur was indeed beneficial for the trailer; and the eerie rendition to Jurassic Park's theme created the right feel for the preview's atmosphere. While I am on the fence about this movie, I will say that the trailer to Jurassic World has my attention. Plus that shot at the end of the preview was just cool. Even I have to admit that.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World takes place twenty two years after the events of the first film. It seems that the John Hammond's dream has become a reality as the park known as Jurassic World has treated tourist to world of dinosaur. However business for the park has seen a major decline, so people behind Jurassic World decide to create something new to pick business back up; and sure enough, their plan backfires.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, BD Wong, Judy Greer, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan.

Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12, 2015.

Stay tune later for my breakdown of this trailer on Moviepilot.
